One of the most impressive aspects of this gigantic increase in Kia's profits is that it is enough to make them refigure their market share goal for the year. And, as Kia continues to gain traction in the U.S. market, expect to see more models getting big upgrades.

Some of the models that we've already see win big are the Kia Optima and Kia Sportage. They have each earned high praise from even the harshest critics. For example, the 2012 Kia Sportage has earned a TOP SAFETY PICK designation by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Meanwhile, the 2011 Kia Optima has earned more than its far share of awards and accolades. A few include being  named in the list of Top 5 Family Cars that Dads Love Too by AutoTrader.com, a Top-Ten Safety Buy by Auto A Fondo, and 2011 Editor's Most Wanted by Edmund's Inside Line.
