Three Kia Models Earned Segment Wins in a Recent J.D. Power Study

Recently, Kia Motors America announced that the Niro, Soul and Cadenza all finished first in their respective segments in the J.D. Power Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Awards. We think it's worth noting that Kia was the only non-premium brand to register three segment wins, tying the automaker with two premium brands.

  • The Niro crossover hybrid finished 51 points ahead of the segment average to win the Small SUV category
  • The Soul earned a fifth APEAL award by finishing on top of the Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle segment
  • Cadenza overcame strong competition to win the Large Car category

The J.D. Power APEAL Study, which is now in its 22nd year, gauges how satisfying a vehicle is to both own and drive. Surveys are conducted after 90 days of ownership, and results are calculated based on owners' valuations of 77 vehicle attributes across a span of 10 categories. J.D. Power affirms that vehicles boasting the highest appeal enjoy higher owner loyalty, sell faster and for higher prices.

Our dealership at 3195 College Avenue in Fayetteville proudly serves drivers from the Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville and Fort Smith areas.
